Like a Mirror Made of Words explores the relationship between seeing, sensing, and making sense. The performers move in a dual state of seeing and being seen, shifting the intensity of their gaze and the object of their focus between the art works, the architecture, and each other. Created for the opening of the gallery at the former train station turned exhibition space, the work draws our attention to the multivalenced relationality and sensitivity produced by the act of seeing.

Like a Mirror Made of Words erforscht die Beziehung zwischen Sehen, Empfinden und Sinngebung. Die Performer bewegen sich in einem doppelten Zustand des Sehens und Gesehenwerdens, wobei sie die Intensität ihres Blicks und das Objekt ihrer Aufmerksamkeit zwischen den Kunstwerken, der Architektur und einander wechseln. Die für die Eröffnung des Ausstellungsraums geschaffene Arbeit lenkt unsere Aufmerksamkeit auf die vielschichtige Relationalität und Sensibilität, die durch den Akt des Sehens entsteht.
